I am finding this text so valuable…thank you so much for sharing it! Because I am an educational writer by profession, my proverbial “red pen” is always poised to find possibilities for refinement, and I’m hoping what I’ve noticed will be helpful if I point it out.
On page 97 there are two typos – things a spell-checker couldn’t have caught for reasons that will be clear when you take a look at them (the first is here, in brackets):
Redman was immediately fearful of White Eye’s evil powers and was
momentarily speechless. “So Redman!” [I said], “What is this?”
I gather from context that “I” should be replaced with “White Eye.”
Several paragraphs later, a paragraph begins, “Low and behold” – if I’m not mistaken, the phrase is usually written “Lo and behold.”
I hope this helps a little bit; it is intended as a gift of thanks. The content I’ve read so far has been stunning and I feel real gratitude.
